A Cure For Back Pain

Back Pain seems to hit suddenly without warning. All of a sudden you're wondering what caused the incredible pain in your back or neck. You wonder if your age is beginning to set in with the familiar chronological age woes. You shrug off this age probability, and realize that you need to be mindful of your back and posture. Being mindful of your back is the first step to avoiding pain and possibly curing your back pain coupled with regular exercise including stretching and muscle toning.

Your posture has a lot to do with the cause of your back pain unless you were, unfortunately, injured in a car accident or slip and fall accident. When you are involved in your daily activities, your posture is the last thing you think about until you feel a nudging nip of pain that signals to you to take it easy or rest for a while. This is the time to stand up, walk around and stretch the muscle in your back with a couple of deep breathes or to lay down with an ice pack to calm the inflammation in your back that is your source of pain.

Sitting in front of a computer all day can produce havoc on your posture, especially when you are scrunching at a computer desk inputting data or doing countless hours of research in front of an LCD screen. Taking short breaks from your sitting posture by going for a short walk, or stretching will get your blood circulating in helping to lessen your pain.

The absolute best cure for mostly all type of back pain is getting regular chiropractic adjustments. Subluxations are the cause of back pain that occurs when your spinal column is misaligned, and spinal vertebrae have become dislocated. This causes interference within the nerve signals to your brain.

Mostly everyone has ingrown mild subluxation just for standing upright and doing normal daily activities like sitting and walking, mainly if you ever suffered with a migraine or pressure in your eye area. Getting a mild chiropractic adjustment from the time you are young up to adulthood can prevent possible ailments from allergies to fibromyalgia to pinched nerves to complications in pregnancy and whip lash syndrome, etc.

Your spinal column is in every sense the “backbone” of your body. It literally anchors, directly or indirectly every other bone in your body and signals all your nerves impulses to your brain. These signals easily become misaligned from common everyday activities. Chiropractic care keeps your spinal nerves at peak efficiency and is the literal cure for back pain.

Chiropractic care is the only form of back treatment that serves to re-establish normal vertebral motion and position in the spine through spinal adjustments that correct the underlying spinal misalignment in curing your pain. All other treatments, such as muscle relaxants, pain killers and bed rest, only serve to decrease the symptoms of your back inflammation that is the temporary source of your acute pain and does not correct the problem itself.

The “cracking” or “popping” sound you hear when a chiropractor adjusts your spinal vertebrae is merely toxic gas escaping from the synovial fluid when the pressure is released due to a chiropractic adjustment. This instant release of spinal pressure from a chiropractic adjustment aids your back to heal and function with less pain from its core.

After your chiropractic adjustment, keeping fit is the next best remedy for all back pain relief including lower back pain and to maintain a healthy back. Walking for a mile or a bit more a couple of times a week is a proper exercise to keep your back healthy, as walking doesn’t put stress on your joints except if you are overweight or obese. If you are overweight, it is necessary to do what it takes to keep your weight reasonable for your body type and height, and build up your back muscles with weights and yoga poses that stretch your back. Do these to ward off back pain and to keep your back healthy.

Taking care of your back is a continual life event. You can’t expect to exercise once in a while or see a chiropractor when you feel like it. Continued regular exercise and maintenance back care is the secret to living an active life without suffering with back pain. Even if, you are not experiencing any sort of back pain, it is essential to get checked out by a chiropractor for any abnormal subluxation and receive maintenance care by getting a regular spinal adjustment approximately every six weeks or so.

Chiropractic care deals with the whole person and treats the causes of health problems rather than just the symptoms. In addition to restoring your health and increasing your resistance to disease, a chiropractor will seek to help you maintain proper health without the use of drugs, pain killers, and surgical procedures.

Love it! I am definitely one who believes in chiropractic care and exercise...healthy living both food wise, mentally, physically and spiritually. We definitely have to take care of our bodies as we progress thru life, not waiting until older age to try and take notice.

Luv & Blessings!
